Local Moving
Across town or one town over, our crew loads, protects, hauls, and sets up your home so you can sleep in your own bed that night.
Local Moving
Navigating stairs, elevators, and tight hallways is what our crew is trained for. Apartment and condo moves are part of our local moving service, along with walk-ups and the elevator coordination that comes with larger buildings.
We pad and wrap furniture before it moves, which matters even more in an apartment, where every corner, railing, and door frame is one your deposit depends on. Bed frames and tables that won't make the turn in the stairwell get taken apart and put back together at the other end.
As a rule, three things. The first is height: every flight of stairs adds time to every single trip. The second is the carry, meaning the distance from your door to wherever the truck is allowed to park. In a large complex that can be a long walk. The third is the building's own rules: elevator reservations, loading zones, move-in hours, and gate access.
None of these is a problem when we know ahead of time. All of them are a problem when we find out at the curb. Tell us the floor, whether there's an elevator, and what the parking looks like at both addresses.
A week or two before your move, ask the leasing office a few questions. Do movers need to reserve the elevator, and for how long? Is there a loading zone or a preferred place for the truck? Are there hours when moves aren't allowed? Do movers need a gate code or a temporary pass?
If you're moving into a new complex, ask the same questions there. Then pass the answers along to us. It takes you five minutes and can save an hour on move day.
We offer flexible, affordable help for student moves, whether you're heading to campus housing or out of it. For a lot of students, the smartest option is our labor-only service: you or your parents rent the truck, and a couple of our movers handle the stairs and the heavy furniture.
Moving out of an apartment into your first house? That's usually a lighter load going into a bigger space, and those moves tend to go quickly.
Most apartment moves are local moves, billed hourly from $235 for three movers and a truck, and our pricing page explains the details. Because time is what you're paying for, the biggest savings come from being fully packed, having the elevator reserved, and saving the closest parking spot for the truck.
For your estimate, a video walkthrough works especially well for apartments. We text you a link and you show us the unit, the hallway, the stairs or elevator, and the walk out to the parking lot. Seeing the route is as useful to us as seeing the furniture.

Yes. With our labor-only service you provide the truck or trailer and we provide the movers. It's billed hourly, with a minimum.
The three questions we ask on every move
Your belongings, your home, and our crew all finish the day in one piece. Furniture is padded and wrapped before it moves, and nobody rushes a heavy piece down a staircase.
Everything is worked out before we arrive, so when the truck pulls up we can just get to work. Moving day shouldn't be the day the planning happens.
Our crew puts themselves in your shoes. Polite, in uniform, and thinking ahead for you on one of the more stressful days of your life.
Tell us the floor and the building rules, and we'll plan the crew around them. Call (830) 837-4628 or request an estimate.
