Local moving in New Braunfels and nearby towns

A local move should take a day, not a week of your life. Trinity's crew shows up with the truck, the padding, and the plan, and gets you from one front door to the other without drama.

Who this is for

If you're moving within about 30 miles of New Braunfels, that's a local move to us. It covers apartments and condos, single-family homes, townhouses and duplexes, and everything in between.

We're comfortable with the tricky ones. Apartment moves mean stairs, elevators, and tight hallways, and our crew is trained for them. Townhouses and duplexes mean split levels and shared walls. Senior moves, whether it's downsizing or a transition to assisted living, get a gentler pace and a lot of patience. Students moving to or from campus housing usually need something flexible and affordable. We handle all of these.

We also help with smaller jobs that don't need a full move: rearranging furniture inside your home, or loading and unloading a storage unit.

What's included

A full-service local move with Trinity comes with a clean, padded moving truck and a friendly, uniformed crew. Dollies, straps, shrink wrap, moving blankets, floor runners, and door jamb protectors are all included. You don't rent them and you don't pay extra for them.

We handle safe disassembly and reassembly of basic furniture, like bed frames and tables, and we load and unload with care so the things that matter arrive the way they left. At the new place, we set furniture where you want it, not just inside the door.

Want us to pack too? That's a separate service you can add, from a few fragile items to the whole house.

How local moves are priced

Local moves are billed by the hour. Our base rate is $235 an hour for three movers and a 26-foot truck within about 30 miles of New Braunfels, and moves in the first half of the month often land between $215 and $235. Need a second truck or a fourth mover? Each one adds $50 an hour. The full rate card is on our pricing page.

With hourly pricing, the two things that drive the total are crew size and time. Time is mostly about how much you have and how hard it is to reach: stairs, elevators, long walks from the door to the truck, and furniture that needs to come apart. Being packed and ready when we arrive is the single best way to keep the clock short.

We charge for drive time. The clock starts when the crew leaves our location, and the drive back to our location is billed too. GPS does the measuring: the crew logs the time they leave, GPS records how long it took to reach you, and when the job is done they log the finish and GPS calculates the drive back.

Your estimate spells out the rate, the minimum, and what's included. No hidden fees.

Start with a video walkthrough

The fastest way to a reliable number is to show us. We'll text you a LiveSwitch link, with no app to download. Walk us through your home on a live call, or record it on your own time and send it in. We see the rooms, the furniture, the stairs, and where a truck can park, and we build your estimate from that instead of from a guess.

It also means fewer surprises for both of us on move day. If we've already seen the sleeper sofa on the third floor, we've already planned for it.

Getting ready for move day

We'll send you a prep checklist, but the short version is simple: pack up, label your boxes by room, and we'll handle the rest. Set aside the things you want to carry yourself, like medications, documents, and valuables. Reserve the elevator or a loading zone if your building requires it, and let us know about gate codes or parking rules ahead of time. The better prepared you are for our arrival, the faster and smoother the day goes.

Short on notice? Call us anyway. We can't promise every date, but we're set up to handle urgent local moves and we'll do our best to fit you in.

Do you charge hourly or flat rates for local moves?

Local moves are hourly: $235 an hour for three movers and a 26-foot truck is our base rate, and each extra mover or truck adds $50 an hour. Out-of-town moves are a flat rate.

Do I need to rent moving blankets or dollies?

No. Dollies, straps, shrink wrap, and moving blankets are included with a full-service local move.

The three questions we ask on every move

Safe

Your belongings, your home, and our crew all finish the day in one piece. Furniture is padded and wrapped before it moves, and nobody rushes a heavy piece down a staircase.

Efficient

Everything is worked out before we arrive, so when the truck pulls up we can just get to work. Moving day shouldn't be the day the planning happens.

Courteous

Our crew puts themselves in your shoes. Polite, in uniform, and thinking ahead for you on one of the more stressful days of your life.
